We have provided all of the tools to make online mediation and virtual dispute resolution a simple reality.

STEP 1:

Use the online calendaring tool to find available dates to mediate online. This allows you to directly find possible virtual mediation dates from your home or office, or even on the go.Coordinate the dates with your opposing party and then book the mediation date online to confirm.

STEP 2:

In advance of your online mediation, send an email summarizing your issues and enclose any relevant pleadings, motions, letters, caselaw, statutes, or anything else you believe helpful for the mediator. All of this can be submitted online for review in advance so that your virtual mediation hits the ground already running.

STEP 3:

Attend your online mediation via video conference or telephone.  Video conferencing is made simple for you: You will receive a private invitation with private, unique login information that only you can access.  Lawyers and clients can even be in separate locations if they wish. Each side (client, lawyer, accountant, expert, etc.) will each have their own private “virtual room” with privacy from the other side, no matter where each person is located.  It will be just like you are all together physically in the same room (except you are not!). Experts can even share schedules and computer screens in privacy with their virtual room attendees.

Your mediator will then be able to back and forth between “virtual rooms” just like a real mediation.

You can participate in your online mediation from your computer, your ipad / tablet, or even your cell phone.  All you need is a solid internet connection and a camera. We handle the rest.

STEP 4:

Your virtual mediator will work with you to help reach an online settlement.  Once an agreement is reached through the online mediation process, you will be able to draft your contract and share it between parties, just like a regular mediation.  Once an agreement is finalized, our online system allows each party to digitally sign, creating a fully executed contract that gets shared with both parties. You can even ask your mediator about online notary options!

STEP 5:

Your issue is resolved and you can proceed just as you would have following an in-person mediation.
